Client Highlight

Sarah Biby

Let’s hear it for our August Client Highlight, Sarah Biby! Sarah’s story truly represents the beauty of God’s redemption, she is one of a kind, and we are so grateful she is a part of our TTT family. She and her husband have 3 darling, active boys, and their family stays on the move at all times…yet she STILL takes time to prioritize her health-spirit/mind/body! She sees and feels the results of her hard work and dedication, and for that we could not be happier! Her kind, generous, and calmness seem to comfort anyone around her. Knowing Sarah is a gift, and we don’t ever take that for granted. We love you TONS Sarah (aka Biby since we have 28 girls who are sarah/sara :), and we can’t wait to continue doing life with you to see what God has in store. Let’s GOOO baby! (PS: she has threatened to burn the sleds more than any other TTT client in history; yet she still shows up and does them!

Hi, my name is Sarah Biby. I have been married to my husband, Nick, for almost 15 years. Together we have three sweet boys who are full of energy: Coleman (9), Sloan (6), and Brooks (4). You will frequently find us in a gym or at a field cheering on our boys in all their sporting activities. We also love traveling any chance we can get and are huge lake bums.

I was born and raised in Manhattan, KS (GO CATS!) and was always very active playing sports with volleyball being my favorite. I also spent my summers at the lake water skiing and competing in tournaments throughout the region and country. After high school, I played volleyball at Rockhurst University which is where I also met my future husband and completed my graduate studies in Physical Therapy. Being a PT, I fully understand the benefits of proper exercise and nutrition, but after having kids (especially our last son) personal time for myself became scarce.

I have been consistently coming to TTT for 2 years now and am completely hooked. I started out with a goal of attending 2-3 times/week as my schedule allowed, which has progressed to consistently attending 4 times/week despite our hectic schedule. My body fat % has decreased, I have gained muscle mass, and I am probably the strongest I have ever been. I am less anxious, more patient, more energetic, and happier now that I consistently dedicate one intense hour to myself at TTT. I have also participated in the 10 day shreds with the ongoing goal of overall clean eating. By no means has it been perfect, but I continue to incorporate clean foods and recipes that are not only tasty, but fuel my body properly. This gives me energy to keep up with our boys and the foods are also family friendly. I have also had several consultations with Angie that have helped keep me on track. These have also allowed me to see the changes going on with my body that aren’t necessarily reflected by the number on the scale.

In addition to the physical changes, TTT has provided so much more:

First, TTT has pushed me in my faith journey. What I remember most from my first TTT workout was the inspiring cool down where Angie brought it all back to what truly matters, God. TTT is centered in a love for Christ and you can definitely feel that love throughout the workout and beyond. This group of women inspire me daily to be all that God has called me to be as a wife, mother, and friend.

In addition, the friendships that I have made at TTT have been some of the most sincere and supportive relationships that I have ever had. The trainers are encouraging, always pushing me to give my very best and are frequently checking in with me outside of the workouts. The women I get to workout alongside are inspiring, motivating, and push me to keep going especially when at times, I physically don’t think it is possible. Unfortunately in 2006, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer when she was only 48 years old. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish she was still here. However, I fully believe that she had a part in TTT being part of my life now. She was a strong lady and knew that I would need strong women around me, especially as I am raising my family. Having so many supportive women who are walking through this stage of life with me has been the biggest blessing.

Now at the age of 40, I am confident that I am the strongest, healthiest, and happiest version of myself thanks to TTT. I am forever grateful for the entire TTT family for being right by my side from my very first workout and cheering me on, praying for me, and pushing me harder than I thought possible. I am beyond excited for their new Overland Park location and can’t wait to see all the womens’ lives that are changed in their new space. It’s going to be amazing and I would love for you to join me!
